I have been trying to do something about the links section of this blog, but to no avail as of yet. In the meantime, I'll share the two links I intended to here.
The first link is http://www.soccernet.com/. Part of the ESPN group of websites, this site has a treasure trove of important news pertaining to the world of football. As the the site's administrators are based in England, much of the news and views are on issues within the English game, and to a lesser extent, the rest of the Home Nations. However, the site also has contributors from many correspondents and columnists from all over the world, including the United States, Argentina, Germany and Japan, to name but a few.
The second link that I will share today is from http://www.skysports.com/. Affiliated to the Sky TV network in Britain, this site also provides British-centric sports news. This can be seen from the extensive coverage of the most popular sports in Britain, like football, Rugby Union, Rugby League and tennis. This site also serves as an important counterpoint to Soccernet, and allows sports lovers like myself to get my daily fix of the sporting world.
